House Pendale is a publishing house for fiction that means it.
We publish erotic urban fantasy: stories built on craving as a structural force, where the payoff is earned the same way anything worth having is earned. Right now that's one author, Liora Pendale, and one series, The Constellation Cycle. It won't stay that way.
House Pendale is the roof. Every author who writes under it keeps their own voice. The House gives every voice a place to live and keep its own shape.
What We Hold Ourselves To
Nothing decorative. Nothing hedging.
Every page, every glyph, every choice has to earn its place the way a good ending does. That applies to the writing, and it applies to this website too. If a flourish isn't doing real work, it doesn't ship.
We take the work seriously. We don't take ourselves seriously while doing it. Ask us about the candle wax incident sometime.
